Its actually not that cold. I go to Stony Lake, Ontario during the summer for some fun water-skiing and tubing. It hits the 90s in mid-summer. Depends how north you go, and your location to bodies of water.

Our allies will get pissed off to hell which will lead to a massive nuclear war where canada will lie between the gunfire.

And uh, have you looked at a map recently? Canada borders the U.S. It would be affected by a nuclear strike just as bad as the U.S. itself would.
