Welcome to the Central Journals forum. In this forum you will be allowed to keep a daily log of anything and everything happening in your life that you and only you can update as you seefit. It's a monologue of sorts rather then a dialogue. However, like any new forum, there are a few rules to be followed:

- Use common sense

I know that sounds rather vague, but trust me, it works. Do not post pornographic pictures or stories. Do not abuse swearing or any other type of vulgarity. Simply post as you normally would.

- Do not slander other members

With the way that this forum is set up, it can be very easy to slander other members and simply walk away from it. Therefore, slandering of other Central members of any type is completely prohibited unless the parties names are changed or altered in some way.

- Only those who post a new thread can reply to that thread

In other words, if you start a thread, you are the only one who can post in it. It's not required to post often or with any type of frequency, but it is encouraged to post something every now and then. Afterall, it is your journal and what good is it if you do not update it?

- Leave your e-mail address at the beginning of your new thread

Because people may want to discuss certain items or events happening in your life, there will be a need for people to attempt to reach you. Although the PM service works just fine for that, sometimes what people have to say extends longer then the PM character limit. People can leave AIM, MSN, or ICQ handles as well, but an e-mail address is required regardless. Threads without e-mail addresses are subject to deletion if an e-mail address is not added.

- Public discussion of certain journals is allowed

You can discuss the items in someone's journal publicly in off-topic, but if the person who the thread is pertaining to requests that the thread be closed, it will be without hesitation. Do not use the Central Journals to post threads of discussion. Such threads will be deleted on site.

- Event specific Journals are allowed

Sometimes, people take trips or have a first day of work, or even have their first child. New logs specific to these new happenings are allowed and encouraged. However, do not get carried away with opening new threads. Most people can have a few open at a time, but each one should have a purpose.

- Be creative!!

Although this should be a requirement in any forum, it's a must in the Central Journals. People may want to simply post about their lives in general and that's perfectly fine, but most people want to hear about something interesting that they can read for hours on end as the material presents itself. Consider your audience, or don't, but it's more fun if you do. ;)

The moderators of this forum are Living-In-Clip and myself, Ryu. We will not delete entire journals or even specific entries in journals, but we do reserve the right to edit entries as we seefit. However, as long as the rules are followed and adhered to, there should not be any problems at all. Blatant breaking of the rules will result in this thread being invisible to that specific member or even a temporary ban on that member in the most extreme cases. Remember, it's your life. Have fun and keep it clean.
