And the news is not good (http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/10/wii-impressions-madden-nfl-07/).

While the reviewers ... compliment ... Nintendo's risk-taking venture of a control method, they point out that compared to the much higher performing PS3 and 360 sports games, that the Wii just can't compare, graphics, physics, fluid animations....

Time will tell of course, but I would think that Nindendo needs to find 'niche' games that will truly take advantage of their input method, and not just regular games with an input twist.

but won't that new controller take care of this problem? i'm sure there will be games made specifically for the wi controller, but for games such as this, i thought you could use the other controller for conventional gaming...

Madden NFL 07 is fugly

get used to this

But these motions don't make us feel any closer to the real sport, if anything, they're just tedious. First we have to select a receiver using the appropriate button, and then we have to flick the wrist. Why can't we just press A?

like i've been saying all week....

I never imagined that Madden or any game like that would be idea for the Wii system. Sad to, means I'll have to pick up an Xbox 360 to enjoy Madden (it is still cheaper than a PS3. :D ) .

Heh, it's possible to enjoy Madden?

If this game sucks... well shit, what do you expect from EA? At least they tried, even if they failed.

I prefer the 2K series, but now that it's gone....I will settle for Madden.
