Vivi, I'm not worried about my weight, I can usually contol it to around a half pound. I was more or less bitching about not being able to get any bigger. I've pretty much reached my peak, it's either stay at the top of my current division, or drop to the bottom of the next. Sucks

theomen

well the first thing I would say is dump the pinapple juice. It doesn't increase baslar metabolism, it's pretty caloricly dense and is comprised of monosachrides, so I'd stay away from it. When it comes to weight loss, there is no way around the Law of Thermodynamics, everything has to abide by it. Atkins diet only works because it curbs your appetite, not because of ketosis, so always remember that it comes down to calories in versus calories used. If you burn more than you eat, you'll loose weight.

Try to take in monounsaturated fats (nuts and olive oil) as your main fat source. Make the majority of your carb intake low glycemic carbs like whole wheats and oatmeal. And take in about 100g of protein a day, don't overdue it on the protein though because protein can be converted into fat via denovolypogenesis.

Figure out you body fat, then divide your body weight by the percentage. That number will be how many pounds of fat you have. Then multiply the amount of muscle weight you have (body weight - fat weight) by 20, that will be your resting metabolism. Then figure out hom many calories you burn from activites and that will be your baslar metabolism. Now if your calorie intake is 500kcals less than you burn a day, you'll loose a pound of fat per week (3500kcals in a pound of fat).

Well, working out would be the number one criteria. If you don't cause hypertrophy, you don't build. But if you have a good workout routine, then I'd reccomend eating alot, from healthy sources (monounsat fat, complete proteins, low glycemic carbs). Also, after workouts be sure to take in around 500 kcals from high glycemic carbs (sugars, best one is malto dextrin). After workouts your body is low on glycogen (your bodies fules source) so it will start breaking down muscle mass for energy, this is called catobolism. We don't like this, we want our bodies to produce muscle not eat it, so you take in a shit load of fast absorbing carbs to stop this and make you body go anabolic (building muscle).

This is the basis of muscle building, cause hypertrophy through accute stimulace, and provide your body with the nutrition it needs in order to hyper compensate.

Actually people said both to me. But my favorite, i don't really know since i don't thought about it. But it makes me feel good that i am tall and i like people complimenting me.

If i have to pick, i go with "Wow you're tall!"

6ft 180--the most i've ever weighed was about 186 lbs & i used to work out everyday with just the weight bench. I'm kinda on the slim side but everyday i would eat 2 hamburgers & mashed potatoes plus a weight gainer supplement (powdered stuff) and even then it seemed pretty hard for me to gain the weight.

but i had a pretty nice form as far as my upperbody was concerned..guys on the slim side can become defined more qiuckly because of the less body fat...omen what do you think about those weight gainers? i know one thing..they had me going to the bathroom like crazy..alot of fiber in them.

Clips, those mass gainers are great for post workout meals because of the load of simple sugars and protein. Only bad thing is you have to mix them in water to make them absorb quickly.
